Module 2: Image Processing & Vegetation Indices
- Sub Module 1: Image Preprocessing (Atmospheric & Geometric Correction)
- Sub Module 2: Vegetation Indices (NDVI, EVI, SAVI, NDWI), Hands-on: NDVI Calculation
- Sub Module 3: Crop Health Assessment using NDVI/EVI, Hands-on Map Visualization
Learning Outcome: Compute and interpret vegetation indices to assess crop health.
Module 3: Crop Classification & Land Use Mapping
- Sub Module 1: Supervised & Unsupervised Classification, Hands-on: Crop Classification
- Sub Module 2: Land Use/Land Cover Mapping for Farmland
- Sub Module 3: Accuracy Assessment & Reporting, Confusion Matrix Hands-on
Learning Outcome: Perform crop classification, generate LULC maps, and validate results.
Module 4: GIS-based Agriculture Applications
- Sub Module 1: Soil & Water Resource Mapping, Hands-on: Soil Layer Creation
- Sub Module 2: Crop Yield Estimation using RS Models
- Sub Module 3: Pest & Disease Monitoring, Hands-on: Identify Crop Stress Areas
Learning Outcome: Apply GIS for soil, water, crop yield, and pest/disease monitoring.
Module 5: Advanced Applications & Project Work
- Sub Module 1: Precision Agriculture & Decision Support, Hands-on: Prescription Maps
- Sub Module 2: Integration of RS Datasets, Hands-on: Spatial Analysis of Crop Growth
- Sub Module 3: Project Presentation & Certification
